I just move into an apartment with my 10 yr old daughter. Her room is a long way away from mines. I would not be able to hear someone breaking in. We also live in the back of the apartment complex and there is only 2 warehouses and woods at our bedroom windows. I now sleep in the living room closer to my daughter's room.
