Trying to find a tracking device for Grandmother developing Alzheimer's. This product you have, does it come setup and ready or do I also have to purchase a separate SIM card? My mother is the caregiver and she needs some way to locate Grandmother if she goes off somewhere and forgets where she is. | |
Answer: Yes, you will need to get your own SIM card with good coverage in your area. All GPS trackers need some sort of data plan since they use the same satellites etc as cell phones. If you only need occasional tracking this is the cheapest way to go. The trackers with built-in plans cost about $30/month and are for when you need to keep constant tabs on something or someone. | |
