Hello, When you say this product is controlled by remote control, does that mean there is a separate remote control that comes along with the product? If so, does it give an option for straight record until battery runs out, rather than PIR trigger? For example, would this be a good product to set on a wall to see what someone is watching on TV across the room?
Answer: That reference to the remote was an error on our site. We have since eliminated that phrase. The unit only has one mode which is motion activated recording. We have cameras that can do continuous recording. Do you need a camera that mounts on the wall? Question: Yes, I do.  And I do not believe the PIR sensor would work for my situation. This model would be perfect if there was a way to trip the PIR sensor; any ideas? Answer: Wall mount limits your options…   Here are a couple of items to consider. The difference is in the amount of solid hours of recording you get. The first one would be only good for a few hours of solid/continuous recording (no remote – must be manually switched on). The second one would give you about 20 hours of continuous recording.   Note also that the recordings will not be one long contiguous video but will be saved and stored as multiple 3 minute long sequential segments.
