I'm interested in this product, but have concerns. the recorder has an extended life of several days, but the microphone is only good for 3 hours. Am I missing something? Doesn't seem like a good pairing. Any advice? | |
Answer: Do you need the microphone to be in location A and the recorder to be in location B? If so then 3 hours is actually very good for a battery powered wireless transmitter. You'll be hard pressed to do better. If not you could go with a straight voice recorder, put it in the location you want to record, retrieve it later and play it back. The VRSLTW-MG will do both. But if you don't need a wireless transmission you'll save with just a straight recorder that is voice activated and has a long standby life… like so:
