Every week I get a call from customers who need to place a video camera in a window. Its actually a tricky situation… most hidden cameras are built into appliances etc. But you need something small enough that it doesn’t attract too much attention in a window.
The other challenge is the motion activation. Using PIR is out because it won’t work too well through glass. So the long battery life cameras are out!

Motion activated - captures video or up to 25,000 still photos. Battery operated, DVR records to SD card – no wires! This one is great but you have to change the batteries every day or two.

Weatherproof for outdoor use - up to 20 day battery life, motion activated. This would have to go on the outside of your window for the motion activation to work. Its no good if it has to go through the glass.
