A: A little but not a lot! If you can set up your home WiFi network and if you feel comfortable loading software on your PC you should be able to handle setting up a simple IP camera or camera system.
IP cameras all work along the same basic principles… You will attach the camera (or in the case of a system, the receiver unit) to your router via, run a utility program from your PC to find out the unique IP addresses for each of the cameras, set up passwords etc. When you know the IP address for the cameras you type them into your browser and you should see the feed.
