I have a typical Panasonic phone where the base is hardwired to the house telephone line, and two other "wireless" phones that communicate with the base. I want to know if this unit will accomplish that?
I ask because of: Note: if you are using a multi-extension phone system you will need to use a device with the option for a handset hook-up.

Also, can you listen to the play back directly from the unit or must the SD card be moved to another type device?

The MTR will work with a phone like you have described.

 

Just so you know… a multi-extension phone is like what is used in a business office with multiple personnel available by dialing their extension.
